Spotlight 

   We shine the spotlight for October on Sister Doris Anderson, who is a loving and supportive mother and a proud grandmother whose nurturing spirit has touched the lives of many. As a faithful and devoted member of the church, she leads by example through her unwavering commitment to God and her deep respect for church leadership. Her willingness to serve and her humble obedience have not only strengthened her personal walk with Christ but have also contributed greatly to the spiritual growth, unity, and love within our church community.

   Sister Doris exemplifies godly characteristics such as humility, kindness, patience, and a true servant’s heart. Her leadership is marked by grace, wisdom, and a sincere desire to uplift, encourage, and guide others in their faith. A devoted student of the Word, she finds great joy in studying the Bible and growing in spiritual understanding. Because of her dedication and insight, Sister Doris is occasionally selected to teach both Sunday School and Bible Study, where she faithfully shares the truth of God’s Word with clarity, passion, and spiritual depth—leaving hearts inspired and strengthened.

   She is also known for her diligent and hardworking nature, faithfully serving in various departments within the church with excellence and joy. Beyond the church walls, she continues to live out her faith as a dedicated student and volunteer at a community organization that provides meals for homebound seniors. Her compassion extends far beyond what is seen, as she quietly touches lives with acts of love and encouragement.

   Sister Doris’ heart’s desire is to please God in all that she does, and her life is a beautiful reflection of His grace at work. She is truly a light in our congregation and an example of what it means to live a life wholly devoted to Christ.

   October is also Sister Doris’ birthday month so we would like to shout, “Happy Birthday.”
